NFT buyers have assembled a collection of NFT art inspired by the career of Anthony Hopkin. The first Eternal Collection sold out in less than 7 minutes on OpenSea.
The collection includes artwork with visual references to Hopkins’ performances. For example, in the film The Silence of the Lambs, where Anthony received an Oscar.
The collection results from a collaboration with Orange Comet and an agency focused on NFT and WEB3.
There were technical difficulties during the launch. Due to “high demand” issues, the launch was delayed by 45 minutes. In addition to owning the digital artwork, buyers will also receive printouts of the artwork autographed by Hopkins.
The actor said:
“ I started painting in the 1940s and had my first exhibition in 2015 at an art gallery in Hawaii.”
Since then, Anthony Hopkins has had exhibitions in New York, Las Vegas, London, and Edinburgh.
Here’s what Hopkins had to say in his NFT tweet:
“Entering the NFT space is the same as being on the moon”
The collections currently have a minimum price of 0.819 ETH, with 14% of the collection listed for resale.
