Crypto investment platform Bitpanda has launched four new thematic cryptocurrency indexes based on the Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Metaverse, Blockchain Infrastructure and Smart Contracts sectors. They allow users to invest in projects based on these topics.
According to the company’s official statement, the new indices will give customers a chance to invest in the formed portfolios of cryptocurrency assets. They will provide access to coins and tokens related to the above topics without purchasing individual cryptocurrencies. Each of the indices is automatically rebalanced depending on changes in the market.
Co-founder and CEO Eric Demuth assured that with Bitpanda Crypto Indexes, the organization’s clients could access new opportunities in the market. The choice of 4 crypto-indices fell in these areas, as they are of the most significant interest to the public and are the most popular. Now, invest investors need to explore constantly explore new crypto projects only to diversify their portfolios.
The launch of new products followed a few months after the release of similar offers, automatically investing clients’ funds in the top 5, 10 or 25 top cryptocurrencies, depending on market capitalization. The company’s management assured us they would not stop and plan to develop new indices.
Crypto.ru previously reported: that Bitpanda has acquired UK-based digital asset custodian Trustology. This became known on February 22, 2022, and the transaction amount was not disclosed. After the takeover, Trustology was named Bitpanda Custody.
