Experts Spotted Scammers At PancakeSwap

Analysts assured that cybercriminals often carried out attacks using the PancakeSwap (CAKE) cryptocurrency platform and did it again. Experts noted that with the growing popularity of digital assets, many exchanges face a high level of fraud, and hackers often pay attention to the decentralized platform (DEX) PancakeSwap.

Security experts recalled that in May 2021, PancakeSwap became a victim of scammers. They invited users to click on a link to win prizes. Credulous investors lost their funds by providing personal data on fake sites. as of July 25, 2022, and it was recorded that a similar attack had occurred again.

After several months of silence, the hackers became active again and posed as an exchange platform. Now the attackers used fake websites and links to event logs to falsify the transfers displayed on the Debank and BscScan services. Many users followed malicious links and lost their virtual assets as a result.

The leaders of the trading platform warned users to carefully check any links to web pages they follow.

In addition, it is recommended that you never disclose your private keys and seed phrase to outsiders. For added security, ensure the customer is browsing the official PancakeSwap website. You need to bookmark the actual platform URL.
