A Zebedee blog post published on Thursday said that when players “see a green Satoshi symbol above a coin,” the player “earns bitcoins for tapping it.” According to Fumb Games founder Paul West , this was not possible when the game first launched.
“We originally released Bitcoin Miner about four years ago when the cryptocurrency was starting to take off. But there was no real interest in the game, as at the time it was impossible to allow players to earn real bitcoins on it,” West said. With the help of Zebedee, we were able to bring real bitcoins into the game, which makes the idea of Bitcoin Miner much more fun, efficient and worthy of the players.”
After collecting satoshis and if the user wants to cash them out, he needs to withdraw funds to the Zebedee application. Basically, they select “Cash Out”, enter their ZBD Gamertag and click “redeem” to withdraw bitcoins to the Zebedee app. Bitcoin mining simulation allows players to complete tasks and earn more rigs, invest in infrastructure, provide airdrops, upgrade existing mining rigs, and level up to earn better rewards.
“Bitcoin is an amazing technology for human progress,” commented Simon Cowell, CEO of Zebedee. He stressed that the Zebedee team is “passionate about Bitcoin technology itself and hopes that fun and easily accessible games like Bitcoin Miner will generate interest in Bitcoin and make more people of all ages and backgrounds learn about it and participate in the Bitcoin-based digital economy.” “.
